Mitigation of Air pollution & Greenhouse gases program (MAG)
Applied interdisciplinary research is being used by IIASA's Mitigation of Air Pollution & Greenhouse Gases (MAG) Program to develop innovative modeling tools that identify strategies to protect the local, regional, and global atmosphere while imposing the least burden on economic development.
This research brings together the geo-physical and economic aspects of pollution control within one assessment framework. Together with a network of collaborators, MAG uses this framework as a basis for conducting practical policy analysis in different regions of the world.
